The individual should be able to demonstrate a high degree of drive, focus, and purpose, and serve as the ultimate TACT ambassador to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for determining operational objectives by studying business functions
  • Collect information and evaluate output requirements and formats
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and define specifications of business operations
  • Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements, and work with project teams to plan project budgets
  • Review contracts, cost proposals and contract supplements.
  • Establish and document business processes, track project budgets and expenditures
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed, validating resource requirements, and developing cost estimate models.
  • Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business plans
  • Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for the management team.
  • Plan, coordinate and present the primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives as required
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
  • Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement internally and externally
  • Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in engineering, economics, business and finance with 2-4 years of business analysis or business development experience
  • Experienced as a business analyst or junior business analyst or similar role; knowledge of business analysis best practices is an asset
  • Experienced at gathering, defining, and organizing business and functional requirements
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and project management methods.
  • Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
  • Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses
  • Knowledge of business plan and business model development
  • Demonstrated professionally with Microsoft Office and G-Suite
  • oriented towards learning and professional growth
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates great interpersonal skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency in Farsi is an asset.
  • A proactive and self-starter that can work under minimal supervision and can juggle multiple projects and priorities
  • A great team player and thrive on helping and supporting other
  • Experience working with Asana, Zoom and Calendly is an asset
  • Experience working in entrepreneurial and SMEs environment is an asset
  • Ideally, you also have an interest in management consulting, investment opportunities and business solutions
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with a desire to be part of a new & innovative team
  • Valid Driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is required

Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 per annum with comprehensive benefits and vacation package.

Position Profile

We are a small consulting firm with office in Richmond Hill is in need of a jack-of-all-trades office manager who can provide support to the managing partners as well as carry out a wide range of tasks from office administration, client invoicing, resource scheduling, expense tracking and supporting the team as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical services to members of the Senior Lead Team and Lead Team to support effective and efficient operations; including meeting scheduling management, meeting coordination, minutes, legal documents and reports.
  • Maintain and promote a positive work environment through collaborative discussions and team communication
  • Plan and execute group meeting logistics and offsite business events
  • Manage and maintain office phone system and directory /Troubleshoot and/or escalate office administration issues
  • Assist in project management and oversight of office related activities
  • Optimize and document office management processes and deliverables
  • Work on special projects and duties assigned as needed
  • Support team as needed: may include welcoming visitors, scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements
  • Handling of highly confidential matters whilst communicating professionally and discretely i.e. correspondence, telephone inquiries, etc.

  • Experience as an office manager/executive assistant or similar role; knowledge of office management best practices is an asset
  • Demonstrated professionally with Microsoft Office and G-Suite
